Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2025. This policy describes how Humanize Me handles the information involved in using the service.
Text submissions
The text you submit to Humanize Me is processed server-side by Phantom, our rewrite engine, and returned to you as output. We do not permanently store the content of your submissions. Text is held in memory only for the duration of the request and is not written to a database, logged to disk, or retained after the response is returned. We do not use your submitted text to train or improve our system.
IP addresses and rate limiting
We use your IP address to enforce rate limits on API usage. This prevents automated abuse and ensures fair access for all users. IP address data is used only for this purpose. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. Rate limit records are stored temporarily and cleared on a rolling basis.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled on Humanize Me, they are configured to be privacy-first. We do not use tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking. Any analytics data collected is aggregated and anonymized, it tells us which pages are visited and how the tool is used overall, not who specifically is using it. We do not sell analytics data to third parties.
No account, no personal data
Humanize Me does not require an account to use. Without an account, we do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personal identifying information. If account features are added in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect what data is collected and how it is used.
